Flat-Fee Program
Non-CDL Traffic Violation - Driving without a License or with a Suspended License
The Non-CDL Traffic Violations Panel is for individuals who have been issued one or more motor-vehicle or traffic citations where the alleged violation is unrelated to a Commercial Driver’s License (“CDL”) and where the individual does not have a CDL. This panel covers a matter where the lead charge is Driving without a License or Driving with a Suspended License and where there is no accident, bodily injury or property damage. The flat fee is $500. To get a referral, call the Lawyer Referral Service at 215-238-6333.
The legal work covered for the $500 flat fee is:
- Appearing and representing individual in the Traffic Division of Philadelphia Municipal Court.
- Obtaining an uncertified copy of Pennsylvania Driver History (or other state’s driver history, if applicable, and if it can be obtained online).
The flat fee does not include:
- Any appeal.
- Fees and costs associated with representation, such as court costs, cost of obtaining driver history records and filing fees for an appeal (if applicable).
