Driving Under the Influence (“DUI”) - First Offense
The DUI - First Offense Panel is for individuals who have been charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol (or a combination of drugs or alcohol), where the individual has no prior convictions for DUI and no prior diversionary dispositions for a DUI charge (such as Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (“ARD”)) in any jurisdiction, and where there is no accident or bodily injury involved. The flat fee for a lawyer’s services on this panel is $975. To get a referral, call the Lawyer Referral Service at 215-238-6333.
The legal work covered for the $975 flat fee is:
- Appearing and representing the individual in the Philadelphia Municipal Court.
- Applying for entry of the individual into to the ARD program.
- Resolving the matter, by way of trial, plea, or other manner, in the Philadelphia Municipal Court if the individual is not accepted into the ARD program.
The flat fee does not include:
- Any appeal.
- Fees and costs associated with representation, such as court costs and filing fees for an appeal (if applicable).
